SCHEDULED HORSEFEATHER OR THERAPEUTIC RIDING WORKSHOPS
From time to time, we offer short one or two day themed or topic orientedworkshops that are open to individual clients or the public.  These workshops are educational in nature and usually related to activities in our program or needs identified in the community.  Notice of these workshops will be listed on the announcment/What's New? page and noted on the calendar.

Workshops could include but are not limited to:
        

• THERAPEUTIC RIDING VOLUNTEER TRAINING-for volunteers in our riding program
• FATHERS AND SONS- A day to hang out for just guys and horses
• MOMMY AND ME-a play date for moms and kids with ponies
• MARES AND FILLIES- A day out for mothers and daughters with horses
• EXPRESSIVE ARTS AND HORSES- a short 1-2day workshop that pairs visual arts with horse play for children and adolescents
• A DAY IN THE BARN-participants spend a day in the barn with horses, participating in barn activities and interaction with horses.  No previous experience required
• HORSES AND THE DIFFERENTLY ABLE-working with people who are differently able using horses and ponies

• fieldtrips for special needs children
• therapeutic riding workshop for a seperate class of adolescents with autism
• anger management workshop for pre adolescent girls
• retreat for rape and sexual violence survivors
• Therapeutic riding and experiential learning workshops for adolescents
